Abstracts are welcome across all topics related to marine mammal science and husbandry. If your work advances the field, it belongs here.
Welfare
Assessment, enrichment and evidence-based practice that improves the lives of aquatic mammals in human care.
Training
Operant conditioning and the husbandry behaviours behind better care, cooperation and welfare.
Veterinary medicine
Clinical medicine, diagnostics, nutrition and advances in the medical management of aquatic mammals.
Conservation
Population conservation, rescue and rehabilitation, and the science that underpins species recovery.
Research
Basic and applied science that expands our understanding of marine mammal physiology, ecology, and behavior.
Education
Public engagement, outreach and the programmes that connect audiences to marine mammal science.

A moderated group session to debate a theme with the community.
How to submit.
StudentsYou’re encouraged to submit — presentations are eligible for best-presentation prizes and EAAM Student Grants toward fees and housing. Every student submission needs a support letter from your institution or professor. PhD students applying for a Grant must also download and complete the PhD Grant application form, include it with your submission, and add a declaration that marine mammal research is their primary activity.
