Respiratory Changes in Stranded Bottlenose Dolphins (Tursiops truncatus)

In a new study published in the Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine, scientists at Oceanogràfic, in conjunction with researchers and animals at Dolphin Quest and Dolphinaris, used spirometry to measure lung function in dolphins while resting in water and while beached to assess the effect of gravity on the respiratory capacity of these animals.
